We consult with the world's largest food system organizations, furthering their work to ensure healthy food is affordable and available to families struggling with malnutrition. Tailored Food also partners with small-scale entrepreneurs to produce affordable, nutritious, and culturally relevant foods.
UNICEF: Designed and led a
21-country regional food systems analysis to restructure how nutritious foods for pregnant women and young children are produced, distributed, and accessed, before developing, launching, and beginning the implementation of UNICEF’s flagship First Foods
Africa initiative.
Mamlo Foods: We recently supported Mamlo Foods in formulating a new, fortified peanut butter enriched with moringa, a nutrient-dense galactagogue that grows prolifically across Kenya, creating both a practical product for lactating women with micronutrient deficiencies and a culturally familiar product for all households.
UN World Food Programme:
Built scalable local production and nutrition delivery systems featuring an indigenous snack bar recipe produced by 16 women's cooperatives.
